On the 28th of December, 2007, at 18:00 hrs, the group of GNU/Linux users from Bitola – “Lugola”, will hold a presentation in the Technical school “Gjorgji Naumov” in Bitola on the project and laptop computer OLPC, intended for the children from the developing countries, a project initiated by US organizations.
In this direction, the Government of the Republic of Macedonia already
implemented pilot projects through which two elementary schools in
Skopje got laptop computers for their pupils from first to fourth
grade. The participants at the event will be able to get familiar with
the possibilities of the OLPC laptop and the activities of Lugola.
