Skopje (20.02.2008) The Metamorphosis Foundation donated a large
quantity of magazines and books to the archive of the City Library
“Brakja Miladinovci” Skopje, in order to enable better access for the
public to this material.
Issues of the weekly magazines Forum, Fokus, Zum, Delo, Denes, Nedelno Vreme and Kapital were donated in the periodicals section, as well as computer magazines in Macedonian and Croatian that were previously used by the Foundation within the frames of its think-tank activities.
Most of the books are part of the “for dummies” edition with reference to the basic computer skills for operative systems and applications being used in Macedonia.
The purpose of this donation is to make the preserved original material available to the wider public, particularly to the researchers in the field of information society and social sciences, through the public libraries network.
The information and knowledge accumulated by the Metamorphosis Foundation are available to the public at the Foundation’s website, where news from the area of information society in the country and the world are published and/or translated in both Macedonian and English, reports and analyses in the form of e-books, as well as public events and trainings organized by the Foundation.
