Promotion of 14 books took place in the Skopje City Library "Brakja Miladinovci" today at 14:00 hrs, featuring works by some of the most popular bloggers using the Macedonian blog-platform "Blogeraj."
The Library director Filip Petrovski, opened the event featuring keynotes by the "Blogeraj" editor Sasho Macanovski – Trendo and Darko Buldioski from the New Media Center. In order to provide a sneak peak in the style of each of the 14 bloggers, actress Jelena Mijatovic read selected posts from the published books. These include short stories, personal notes and essays, travelogues and prose. Publishing company "Akvarius 5" selected these bloggers on account of their popularity and originality, uniting them in a special edition. | The surprisingly large audience almost overcrowded the large Library hall. Copies of the books were offered at a discount price of 100 denars. The aim of publishing of bloggers' books is to bring them closer to wider circle of readers in Macedonia, who seldom or at least not entirely coincide with the regular audience of the blogs.
