Macedonian artist Oliver Musovik to participate at the event taking place from May 23 to June 21, 2008.
The Bucharest Biennale (BB) promotes awareness and dissemination of the culture, particularly in the fields of the arts, by means of exchanges and cultural cooperation within Europe and beyond.
BB aims to encourage creativity of artists, public access to culture, the dissemination of art and culture, inter-cultural dialogue and knowledge of the history and cultural heritage of the European and extra-European people.
The curators of BB3 have selected 38 participants from 21 countries which will produce 44 projects. The Macedonian representative – Oliver Musovik is using the Creative Commons license for the works that he is publishing in digital form on his website.
Oliver Musovik was born in Skopje in 1971. BFA (1997) and (MFA) at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Skopje. He lives and works in Skopje. Oliver has organized several solo exhibitions in Skopje, Niksic, Cetinje, Belgrade, Ljubljana, Boswil (Switzerland), Adelaide (Australia). He has also participated in many Macedonian and international exhibit projects.
