The fourth international conference ”e-Society.Mk” will be held in Skopje, Macedonia on December 10, 2008. This year the conference will focus on ICT usage in education. Please fill out the conference registration form . The registration deadline for the conference is 16:00, December 1th, 2008.

The World Summit Award (WSA)
- a global initiative to select and promote the world’s best e-Content
examples - started in 2003 in the framework of the United Nations’
World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) in Geneva. This is done
through national contests, a global contest, held every two years, and
numerous content-focused national and international conferences and
workshops.

Global Voices convenes a yearly Summit which brings together the members of the Global Voices project and its wider community with a diverse group of bloggers, technologists, journalists and other interested persons, to share information on developments in citizen media spearheaded by and of direct relevance to people outside North America and Western Europe.
This year The Global Voices Citizen Media Summit 2008 will be held in Budapest in partnership with Média Hungária. It will explore topics around the theme “Citizen Media and Citizenhood”, and address fundamental issues surrounding the actual and potential role of citizen media producers in the public life of the countries they live in.
Representatives of Metamorphosis Foundation Bardhyl Jashari and Elena Ignatova are also attending the summit. Foundation Metamorphosis initiated Macedonian and Albanian language versions of Global Voices web page.
