| Notifications of violation for five operators |
|
Yesterday, the Agency for Electronic Communications filed notifications
of violation against the operators who failed to coordinate their
systems with the Central Database for introducing mobile number portability by July 15.
The regulatory authority informs that upon its notification of violation, the court can issue a fine to the operators in the amount of 4 to 7 percent of the operator’s annual income from the last business year. After meeting with the operators two days ago, the AEC informed that Cosmofon, Neotel, On.tel, Nexcom and Akton have not respected the deadline. Upon the request of the operators, the Agency introduced a test period of work for the operators and announced that after the 31st of August the service would be commercially offered to the citizens.
