A workshop on creating DigiTales was held in the premises of the
Metamorphosis Foundation within the project “Imagine your future” in
cooperation with the British Council, Cre8ive8 and Megjashi. It is part
of the projected cycle of three such workshops.
Eight members of Megjashi attended the workshop, making short videos about some of their own personal stories. The videos will soon be published online and a DVD will also be prepared. Each of the videos has a clear message and presents a personal story of its creator.
“Digital” storytelling refers to the media used to convey the story. The digital stories are simply stories that are created and disseminated by using digital media. They are actually real experiences of their creators – written, narrated and illustrated by the person who has experienced the story. Click here to find out more about digital storytelling.
