Handheld devices market in Western Europe grew up for 38% in the third quarter of this year.
Handheld devices market in Western Europe grew up for 38% in the third quarter of this year. In this quarter 1.8 million handheld devices (smart phones and PDA) were being sold. Shipments of smart phones with Symbian operative system and Series 60 interface were the catalyst for the growth. RIM Blackberry had good results, too, with over 120.000 units sold in Western Europe.
