Acoording to IDC, Adriatic Region’s total spending on IT was 1.6 million dollars...
According to the information presented by IDC on the conference “Market and Economy Trends in the Adriatic Region” organized in the realms of INFO Fair in Zagreb, Croatia, Adriatic Region’s total spending on IT was 1.6 million dollars. Macedonia spent 63 million dollars on IT, Croatia spent 575 million dollars, Slovenia spent 502 million dollars, Serbia and Monte Negro spent 337 million dollars, Bosnia and Herzegovina spent 92 million dollars, and Albania spent 47 million dollars.
500.000 computers were distributed in the Adriatic Region. Last year Macedonia spent 31 dollars per person, Slovenia spent 250 dollars, Croatia spent 128 dollars, Serbia and Monte Negro spent 24 dollars, Bosnia and Herzegovina spent 24 dollars and Albania spent 15 dollars per person. Countries in the Adriatic Region with 26.14 million inhabitants spent about 62 dollars per person. According to IDC, the average yearly growth rate of IT spending will be 9.7%.
