With only basic knowledge of word and internet all people interested can become web designers with the new Macedonian product MyWebPortal that drives us in the simplest way through the secrets of developing and updating websites. In addition, companies that paid big money to the designers for developing and updating of websites can now do that by themselves. The portal is translated in Macedonian, English and Serbian and is created by Skopje-based team of developers working in the Gord Systems.

“Until now the companies had to hire other companies to develop their websites and to update them. Now they do not need this. By installing the portal even people with basic computer skills will be able to update the websites. MyWebPortal is end-user web portal. It eliminates the mediator,” explained Dimitar Indovski, manager in Gord Systems. He added that simplicity is among the key advantages of the MyWebPortal.

The portal is adjusted for healthcare institutions, local self-governance and businesses. It is available in basic, professional, and enterprise editions, depends on the user. Gord Systems organises short trainings on working with the portal, and depends on the complexity the trainings may be from several hours to few days. The portal is already used by the City of Skopje, Bitola Municipality, Bulgarian municipality Kazanlak, Republic institute for heath protection, and many other companies and organisations. The project is created about four years ago and has won many international awards such are the Swiss „Best of Trado 2005“, and Macedonian World Summit Award. The portal was also awarded with Discobolos 2005 in category of services in Serbia and Montenegro.

“The portal is used by the Republic institute for health protection of Serbia and Montenegro and they are in charged of providing recommendations and directions to all public institutions about the products they should use. We expect other partner companies and users. One of the biggest internet providers in Serbia EUnet is our partner for that territory,” said Indovski.

They have presented the portal on the fairs in Hanover and Munich and on lot of workshops. The company said that the main objective is to penetrate the foreign markets.
