Metamorphosis is an independent, nonpartisan and nonprofit foundation based in Skopje, Macedonia. Its main goals are development of democracy and prosperity by promoting knowledge-based economy and information society.
On February 1st, 2006 ADSL internet users, subscribers of internet provider Makedonski Telekomunikacii were deprived of normal speed internet due to the hacker attacks to the IP links. Users reacted in the Telecom and the Telecom informed them that they links were under attack thus disabling normal flow of information. Makedonski Telekomunikacii denied the attack.
Macedonian internet providers are very common target of the hackers in the last few months. The hackers are obstructing provider or user internet links by sending lots of packages. Recently, internet provider On.net was attacked, too.
