Assessment of Macedonia’s Good Governance Potential 

Foundation Open Society Institute - Macedonia (FOSIM) in cooperation with General Secretariat of the Government of the Republic of Macedonia will conduct the Assessment of Macedonia’s Good Governance Potential Project. The Project is consisted of several components. One of the components is related to ICT and will be implemented by the Metamorphosis Foundation.

Within the ICT component of the Project the following 5 activities will be implemented:

• Analysis of the 5 most used e-services
• ICT standards in the Governmental institutions
• Needs assessment for IT training for public officials from EU aspect
• Support for www.uslugi.gov.mk personnel
• Support for General Secretariat’s ICT sector with human resources

Number of visits and usability of the portal www.uslugi.gov.mk will be analysed and recommendations will be given for next phase of the Project for improvement of number of visits and usability of the portal. In addition, standards for safety, privacy, usability and accessibility of the documents exchanged in GS’s intra- and inter- communication will be set.
Moreover, need of training for administration according to EU requirements will be assessed. The Project predicts skills upgrade of the personnel working on www.uslugi.gov.mk portal that will contribute to more efficient updating information published at www.uslugi.gov.mk.
