By cheaper ADSL connection up to 30% and increasing the speed up to 50% Macedonian Telecom is striving to achieve 10.000 ADSL users, announced MakTel. Prices are decreased from 300 to 3.000 denars, depends on the service. MakTel added that each user that will sign one- or two-year contract for ADSL access to May 15 at latest will receive free installation of the necessary equipment.
If the ADSL users exceed the monthly limit they will still have the chance to choose whether to surf with slower connection without paying for the additional traffic, or to surf with the same speed and to pay for the additional traffic. The fee for additional traffic remains the same – 175 denars for every 512 MB. MakTel added that Macedonian business sector covers 30% of the current ADSL users.
