Information about activities of the Prime Minister, ministries and Government in general from May, April, and even from December 2005 are the latest information published at the official Government website . If Macedonian citizens want to know what Prime Minister Buchkovski said previous day or few days ago, they will be disappointed since the information from May 31, 2006 are the latest for the governmental bodies in charged for administering the website.
Nevertheless, Macedonian citizens, more or less, are already used to the fact that official ministries and institutions websites are not functioning. Foreign politicians and common people that visit the website for fun or for obtaining information are facing serious problems.
Apart from English version being almost completely neglected, they can have wrong picture for the time lag between their native country and Macedonia. They can notice that in the latest news window the latest news is about the Ilinka Mitreva visit to Holland ten days ago.
It is important to note that the website contains the addresses of Prime Minister Buchkovski on several occasions delivered last year in December. Maybe it is due to the preoccupation with the elections, maybe not, but the fact is that this website has not been reconstructed for four years with new design and new content. The thing is comical if one considers the statements given by politicians regarding our steps towards information society and positive reactions about the cooperation between Microsoft and Macedonia.
