Presentation of opportunity of free access to great number of internet databases will be held on January 17, 2007 starting at 12:00 in the NUL “St. Clement of Ohrid“ within the US Agency for International Development (USAID) Creative Teaching and Learning Project. The access to this rich source of internet academic articles, journals and scholarly works is provided through annual subscription that will be available until October 2008 and is financed by USAID within the Creative Teaching and Learning Project implemented by the Foundation Open Society Institute – Macedonia (FOSIM).
Free access to internet databases will be made available to all educational institutions in the Republic of Macedonia – primary and secondary schools, faculties, libraries, as well as dormitories.
The presentation will be accompanied with short workshop about access and use of the system that will be moderated by Miodrag Dadasovic, coordinator of Macedonian Consortium of e-libraries, and Dragan Nikolic, representative of EBSCO information service (one of the available databases).
Lela Jakovlevska – Joshevska, USAID's education expert, and Spomenka Lazarevska, Director of FOSIM’s education program will address the audience.
