The Jury of the competition for the World Summit Award for Macedonia held its first meeting on April 23, 2005 in Children Theatre Center in the Old Bazaar in Skopje.
The goal of the meeting was the initiation of the work of the jury through agreeing on detailed agenda and determining transparent procedures for solving various issues during the process of selection.
The multidisciplinary Jury includes forty e-content and information society experts who come from the educational, private, governmental, and the civic sector. The individual members grouped into commissions dealing with each of the eight WSA categories.
At the meeting, the jury selected the following dates for the upcoming activities:
- May 11 – public panel "Global Promotion of Macedonia via e-Content" (Cultural Centre Tochka in Skopje, 11 pm)
- May 31 – deadline for applications
- June 5 – selection of candidates
