Conference on free and open source software 2007 (FOSS) and its
implementation in the local self-government will be organized in
Holiday Inn Hotel in Skopje on May 15, 2007. The conference is
organized by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and Association of the Units of the Local Self-Government (ZELS).
The
conference will present the advantages of the FOSS especially for the
local self-government through case studies and positive experiences.
The main goal of the conference is to contribute towards raising
awareness on FOSS especially among those directly involved in drafting
national strategies.
The Need for FOSS Policy in Macedonia is the title of the
presentation by Mr. Filip Stojanovski, Program Coordinator at
Metamorphosis Foundation.
