During May and June 2007 Metamorphosis Foundation conducted a survey regarding the website Apply On-Line of the Agency for Civil Servants of Republic of Macedonia. Research goals included getting to know the opinions and the experiences of the candidates about the application that enables applying for the open positions in the public administration via the internet.

The telephone survey covered a random sample of 108 persons from the lists of candidates who have applied for civil servant positions via the Agency for Civil Servants.  The respondents included citizens from the entire territory of Macedonia.

The results indicated that 50% of the respondents found out about the open positions of civil servants via their regular visits to the website of the Agency. 88% of the surveyed population used the opportunity to apply via the internet. The applicants also have opportunity to apply in the traditional way, by submitting hard copy of the required documents.

Metamorphosis published the research report containing the main findings and response frequencies on its website in Macedonian and English language.
