On October 10 at 6.30 p.m., a digital clubhouse was formally opened in Prilep’s City Library within the frames of the Digital Clubs project.
The clubhouse is located in the very center of the city, in the City Library “Borka Taleski” and it is an electronic reading room as well. Namely, the complete fund of books, magazines and expert literature owned by the library will be electronically available in this reading room.
There are 6 computers in the clubhouse operating on Ubuntu Linux 7.04, as well as an ADSL internet connection, printer and scanner. During the formal promotion, Prilep’s Mayor - Marjan Risteski promised that the number of computers in the club will be increased.
 
The registration for the free computer training is ongoing. It is projected that the training would encompass the operative system Ubuntu, the office package Open Office and the internet browser Mozilla Firefox. The training schedule will be additionally determined.
The digital clubhouse is a project of the Metamorphosis Foundation, Municipality of Prilep, IT development foundation – ITC Prilep and the City Library.
