Metamorphosis is an independent, nonpartisan and nonprofit foundation based in Skopje, Macedonia. Its main goals are development of democracy and prosperity by promoting knowledge-based economy and information society.
The Swedish Royal Institute of Technology awards the “Stockholm Challenge Award” to innovative projects and programmes that use ICT to intervene in social and economic problems.
The Stockholm Challenge 2008 programme features six category awards for ICT for development projects and a chance to win the prestigious Stockholm Challenge Trophies. An extended programme of workshops, conference, study visits and social gatherings will bring together the most inspiring ICT entrepreneurs, researchers and students from all over the world to share experiences and knowledge.
The prize ceremony in the City Hall will take place during Challenge Week from May 18 - 22, 2008.Participants will present their methods and their achievements to the Challenge jury, the world and each other through the Challenge online platform.
