Promotion of the Creative Commons licenses in Veles
The promotional tour of the Creative Commons licenses continued in Veles on the 22nd of November with the promotion of the book of the blogger Aleks Bukarski “People whose parachute doesn’t open” and with the performance of the Ali Baba band.
This is the first time that the music group Ali Baba from Veles presented itself to the Macedonian public with its music which is a mixture of oriental Roma music and jazz elements. The city of Veles and its old mystical quarter served as an inspiration for them. Click here to read more about these artists.
Aleks Bukarski was awarded “The new ones” prize for his book “People whose parachute doesn’t open” for best prose debut. Bukarski is one of the most interesting and provocative Macedonian bloggers for two and a half years now. You can download his book here. The book is published under the Creative Commons license.
